Frank is an experienced and talented architect with a diverse background in both residential and commercial projects. His extensive practice has provided him with a diverse skill set and understanding of craft and detailing in all types of construction, from small scale details through major academic and cultural facilities. With more than twelve years of experience, Frank is skilled in both coordination and documentation of projects, working closely with design leaders and talented consultants.
Gaining valuable experience at BuildSense, Inc. and The Freelon Group/Perkins+Will, Frank has learned to create buildings that benefit from outstanding project delivery, award winning design, and a focus on function. He believes that continued client relationships are the hallmark of exceptional architecture. Frank is a LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design +Construction and a Certified Construction Contract Administrator. From civic centers to mission critical facilities, Frank has been sought after by owners that desire lasting and inspiring design.
Frank was a key team member for the Harvey B. Gantt Center, a feature of the Levine Center for the Arts in Charlotte. He has contributed to the design of over a million square feet of much-needed behavioral healthcare facilities in North Carolina, coordinating efforts with multiple government agencies, hospitals, non-profit corporations, and community stakeholders. His projects include the Capital Boulevard Brewery, Duke Regional Hospital expansion and renovation, Tanglewood Arbor renovation for Monarch NC, Cherry and Broughton Hospitals for NC Department of Health & Human Services, Elizabeth City State University Pharmacy School, and the Durham County South Regional Library. Frank is currently part of the Durham County Main Library renovation team.
